Save the Date: Saturday, August 20

The first Groton Lakes Association Poker Run will be held on Saturday, August 20th. This will be a great way to have fun with friends and to meet more of your neighbors on the Lake. There will be a $10.00 “ante” per player and two players will split the pot- the high hand and the low hand.

Any kind of boat will do since this is not a race. All boats entered will have an assigned staggered start at Sargisson Beach Dock, where you will be dealt your first card, and receive directions and a map of the participating docks. Following the directions, you will be dealt six more cards, one at each of six docks.

The event will run from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Start at your assigned time between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm and turn in your hand at Sargisson Beach Dock by 5:00 pm. Please register ahead of time by contacting Ron Hersch at hersch65@gmail.com. Ron will need the names of all players, their email and phone contact.
