Dear Lake Neighbors and Friends,
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. How about adding another new year’s resolution to your list?…Attend a GLA meeting.

Here are the 2019 GLA meeting dates. Meetings are held in the Lost Lake fire station. I encourage you to come to a GLA meeting to meet the officers and directors and learn more about the current initiatives.

Please mark your calendars but don’t worry, you will get a reminder before each meeting.

Maintaining our lakes takes lots of resources- especially money. We need to begin saving up for another full-lake herbicide treatment which will potentially cost $80k. Your continued support of the GLA is critical to maintaining the health of our lakes, recreation and property values.

Hope to see you at a meeting in 2019 and look forward to your continued support of the GLA.

GROTON LAKES ASSOCIATION

The Groton Lakes Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Lakes of eastern Groton; primarily "Lost Lake," "Knop's Pond," "Baddacook Pond" and their coves.

Located in Groton, Massachusetts, the G.L.A. works closely with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as other community organizations to develop and implement programs, strategies, and ideas which will preserve the lakes for both native wildlife and recreational use, thereby enhancing the quality of life in our local watershed.
