Please join us for the annual Independence Day Boat Parade at Sargisson Beach
Tuesday, July 4th 2023, 12 Noon

The annual 4th of July boat parade will start at 12 PM off of Sargisson Beach. After the procession we will return to the beach for the awards ceremony. There will be prizes for the following categories: “Most Patriotic”, “Most Creative”, “Best Non-Motorized”.

Decorate your boat and join us for some 4th of July fun!

2023’s BOAT PARADE on July 4th??
An article near the end of today’s June 30th Groton Herald states that Sargisson Beach is closed until further notice. Does that also cancel this year’s boat parade or is it’s starting and finishing location to be relocated to another location like the boat launch or Baby Beach?

GROTON LAKES ASSOCIATION

The Groton Lakes Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Lakes of eastern Groton; primarily "Lost Lake," "Knop's Pond," "Baddacook Pond" and their coves.

Located in Groton, Massachusetts, the G.L.A. works closely with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as other community organizations to develop and implement programs, strategies, and ideas which will preserve the lakes for both native wildlife and recreational use, thereby enhancing the quality of life in our local watershed.
