The 2nd annual Groton Lakes Association Poker Run will be held on Saturday, August 26th. We had a great time last year and we hope to have even more boats out there this year. Any kind of boat will do, since this is not a race.
All boats will begin at Sargisson Beach Dock, where you will be dealt your first card, and receive directions and a map of the participating docks. Using your map, you will be dealt six more cards, one at each of six docks.
Multiple players per boat allowed. There will be a $10.00 “ante” per player and there will be three winners: high hand, low hand, and best dock.
The event will run from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Start anytime between 2:00pm and 3:00pm and turn in your hand at Sargisson Beach Dock by 5:00 pm. Pre registration is helpful but not necessary. Register as a player or dock (we have two openings for docks) by contacting Ron Hersch at hersch65@gmail.com.
