The Woodle family has owned land on Lost Lake since 1923. Henry resided there full time since 1976. Henry T. Woodle (88), of Groton passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024 at Care Dimensions House in Lincoln, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 17, 1935, he was the son of the late David and Ann (Joyce) Woodle. The Groton Lakes Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Lakes of eastern Groton".

Located in Groton, Massachusetts, the GLA works closely with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as other community organizations to develop and implement programs, strategies, and ideas which will preserve the lakes for both native wildlife and recreational use, thereby enhancing the quality of life in our local watershed.
